A collection of images from a recent trip to Florida.
This photograph of a Red-shouldered hawk was captured in Florida's Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in Boynton Beach, Florida. While exploring the refuge this guy flew up out of a ditch with a snake. I tracked his flight to a nearby tree limb. By the time I arrived with camera gear in tow he had already eaten the head off of the snake (12/08).
