Ken Conger > This photograph of some otters was captured in Great Smoky National Park (10/07). Doing a day hike on along stream in the park and observed this otter family unit playing. At one point the group decided to groom on top of a log. When they all looked up at one time I captured this image.

Ken Conger > This photograph of a Deer and Turkey was captured in Great Smoky National Park (10/07). Was photographing a turkey flock and a small herd of deer came through the same field. Was hoping to capture a Deer and Turkey in one image and it worked out.
Ken Conger > This photograph of battling bucks was captured in Great Smoky National Park (10/07). After observing a buck on the edge of the field early in the morning stayed with him into the woods for some time. Eventually another buck appeared and they began to battle. What is not captured in this image is a third buck that appeared, with an even larger rack, that was observing these two fighting.
Ken Conger > This photograph of an early morning buck Deer was captured in Great Smoky National Park (10/07). He was browsing along the wood line and I was able to get fairly close. When he heard me he looked up through the brush and I was able to capture this image.
